In November of 2013, Cypress Pointe was approved by Moore County to order a new fire engine to replace an outdated 1986 engine. Over the last several months, the apparatus was specced out and the order was placed with Atlantic Emergency Solutions (Distributor for Pierce Fire Apparatus). Engine 211 is scheduled to be arrive in early September

Update from Atlantic Emergency Solutions- 08/22/2014

This week, your new apparatus was moving through final product evaluation and any remaining follow-up items, graphics, etc. were being addressed. Next week, expect truck to be on blue floor for customer final inspection.

The final inspection is taking place next week as our administrative staff and chiefs travel to Appleton, Wisconsin.
