On Thursday Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire on Briggs Road in our Harnett County District. Engine's 211 and 221 were clearing another call in the Cameron area at the time of dispatch. Engine 243 from Station 3 was first due and reported heavy smoke showing from approximately a mile away. Upon there arrival they reported a large out building fully involved and threatening the house. Engine 243 deployed a 2.5 inch attack line to protect the house and started knocking the fire down. As Engine's 211 and 221 arrived they initially gave E-243 their water and then assited with setting up a drop tank and water shuttle due to the rural area with limit hydrants.
Automatic Aid Departments included: Crains Creek fire Department, Benhaven Fire Department and Spout Springs Fire Department responded as well and assisted with water supply and firefighting. The Harnett County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.

Units: Engine 243, Engine 211, Engine 221, Tanker 216, Tanker 226 and Rescue 219.
