Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue was requested as a second rescue for a tractor and trailer striking a pedestrian on Vass-Carthage Road early on Saturday morning.
CPFR assisted Whispering Pines with traffic control and blocking the road while the incident was investigated. Unfortunately the pedestrian was deceased at the scene of the incident.
