Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue and our automatic aid partners Carthage Fire/Rescue and Whispering Pines Fire/Rescue along with Moore County EMS were dispatched to a structure fire on Shaw Road. Upon the arrival of Engine 214 they reported a working fire in a single-wide mobile home and that all occupants were out of the structure. The crew initiated an interior attack utilizing two attack lines and tankers form Carthage, Whispering Pines and Cypress Pointe provided water supply. EMS established a rehab area due to the 100 degree temperature of the day, crews rotated often to reduce the chance of firefighters having heat exhaustion.
