CPFR Responds to Wreck in Cameron

Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue recently responded to a side impact wreck in the Cameron area that entrapped the driver of one of the vehicles.
When CPFR personnel arrived on-scene they were confronted with a driver that had minor injuries but was unable to get out of the vehicle. The driver's side door was damaged and unable to be opened and the passenger side door was resting against trees. CPFR personnel utilized extrication equipment to force the driver side door open and assist the driver from the car. She was transported to the hospital for her injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
Also responding to this incident was Moore County EMS and the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
