Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue along with our automatic aid partners Carthage Fire/Rescue and Whispering Pines Fire/Rescue were dispatched to Red Hill Road for a structure fire.
Upon the arrival of Engine 221 they reported a working fire in the connected garage of a two story house. Attack lines were deployed and the fire was aggressively attacked and knocked down while other units secured a water supply, conducted search efforts and ventilated smoke.
There was no one injured and the damage was limited to the garage. Moore County Public Safety is investigating the cause of the fire.
