Engine 211, built by Pierce Fire Apparatus is currently undergoing its final inspection before being delivered to Cypress Pointe. Engine 211 was build to replace Engine 212, an outdated 1986 engine. Over the last several months, Engine 211 has been built to the specifications requested by Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue, such as the First NC Flag grill, side-mounted pump, and the department's first Roto Ray Emergency Light.

The new engine is scheduled to be delivered in early September.
