| Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue was dispatched as automatic aid to Rice Road in Crains Creek's Fire District for a structure fire. Upon the arrival of Crains Creek's units they reported a working mobile home fire. The occupant of the residents had been burning yard debris in the rear of the residents. Due to weather conditions the fire spread under the residents and into the floor and walls of the home.
With the fire extending into the house, attack lines were used under the house and in the house to start knocking down the fire. The fire did extend into the attic area of the house but fire units were able to bring the fire under control but extensive damage was done to the interior of the house.
Units from Crains Creek, Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue, Southern Pines Fire/Rescue, Spout Springs Emergency Services, Fort Bragg Fire Department, Seven Lakes Air Truck, Moore County EMS and Moore County Public Safety. |
