| Cypress Pointe Fire Rescue was dispatched to a woods fire on Pond Branch Road that had started from an unattended control burn. While Cypress Pointe units were enroute to the call they were advised that structures were endanger. The first-in officer requested Whispering Pines Fire/Rescue for an engine and a brush truck.
Upon the arrival of units they attacked a rapidly moving woods and grass fire. Two of the buildings had some fire extend into the buildings, fire personnel entered the buildings and put small spot fires out.
Cypress Pointe units responding included: Brush Truck 217, Brush Truck 228, Brush Truck 248 and Tanker 216.
Units responding from Whispering pines included: Engine 511 and Brush Truck 518. |
