Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue recently hosted a North Carolina Agriculture Rescue Class. This class is designed to teach fire/rescue personnel to how to extricate victims that are involved in incidents with heavy equipment. Patients may be trapped, pinned down or encapsulated by equipment. Heavy equipment extrication in many cases takes special knowledge of systems and specific workings of hydraulic systems and other systems.
