Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue was dispatched to Lakerest Ln. in the Carolina Lakes Community for an outside fire endangering a outbuilding and propane tank. While en-route 228 requested a additional engine due to the large amount of black smoke visible from about a mile away. 228 arrived on scene quickly and extinguished the fire before the outbuilding was involved. The fire was caused due to burning brush the day before and not extinguishing the fire.
