A Agricultural Crop Dusting Helicopter crashed outside of Cameron on Tuesday. The helicopter which is based out of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania was spraying land that was designated as a tree farm that had recently been cleared. They were preparing to re-plant the area in pine trees.
The helicopter was only occupied by the pilot and had just re-filled with chemicals and lifted off when he crashed. The helicopter was approximately 60 feet off the ground when it crashed. The pilot was able to self-extricate and met the fire crews at the wreck when they arrived.
