On late Tuesday afternoon Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue was dispatched to Harnett County District on N.C. 24/27 for a wreck. At the time of dispatch we were advised that the vehicle occupant had been ejected from the vehicle. Upon the arrival of Engine 211 they reported a single vehicle roll-over with an ejection. Fire crews along with Harnett County EMS evaluated the victim but unfortunately they were pronounced dead at the incident scene.
Cypress Pointe personnel and equipment remained on-scene while the N.C. Highway Patrol and Harnett County Sheriff's Office investigated the wreck.
