The 25th Annual Sandhills Regional Fire & Rescue College is being held this week and as part of the classes a four day Fire Investigators Class was held. This class allows for class room instruction and practical hands on training for current fire investigators and future investigators.
On Wednesday this class used an acquired structure in Carthage to set fires and then allow the students to investigate these fires to determine the cause and origin of the fire. This is the best training experience that a fire investigator can get.
This class had approximately 20 students not only from Moore County but from all over the state.
