Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue and the North Carolina Forestry Service were dispatched to a woods fire on Mitchell Road in Cameron that threatened several structures and was difficult to gain access too. This fire was quick moving and caused access problems because of a trees being removed from the property. While the fire department protected structures the Forestry Service plowed a line around the fire to gain control of the fire.
