On Monday Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue responded to a woods fire on Dove Road in our Harnett County Fire District. The fire burned approximately one acre before it was extinguished by fire department personnel. The fire was close to the road so Dove Road was closed for approximately 20 minutes.
