Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue was dispatched to Grady W. Road in Carthage for a kitchen fire as an automatic aid department to assist Carthage Fire Department.
Carthage's first arriving engine made an interior attack and quickly knocked the fire down. Cypress Pointe units arrived and assisted with extinguishing "hot spots" and getting Carthage's units back in-service.
There were no injuries in this fire.
