Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue was dispatched to a wreck involving a roll-back wrecker caring a box truck. The wrecker and box truck together were to tall to pass under the CSX Railroad overpass on U.S. 1 in Vass.
There were no injuries but U.S. 1 Business was closed for several hours while the road was cleared and the North Carolina Department of Transportation and CSX inspected the overpass to insure that trains could continue to pass over U.S. 1.
