CPFR was recently dispatched to Major Road for a vehicle fire, upon the arrival on Engine 211 they reported two vehicles fully involved and possibly endangering a structure. Typically, this type call gets at least two engine companies but due to additional emergency calls that CPFR already had units on, this incident received a reduced response. Engine 211, Tanker 246 and Tanker 226 responded. Engine 211 deployed an attack line and extinguished the vehicle fires with limited staffing.
The fire was reportedly started when one vehicle was "jumping starting" another vehicle. There was no damage to the residents.
