| Multiple departments responded to a structure fire with Southern Pines Fire/Rescue on Youngs Road. Some of these units were committed to a previous structure fire in Southern Pines. Upon the arrival of the first-in units, they encountered a well-involved, vacant structure with heavy fire throughout the building. This area of the county does not have a water system so additional units were requested to supply water to the attack engine. An engine was sent to a pond to fill tankers which supplied drop tanks for the attack engine. |
