Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire in the Woodlake Community on Mimosa Drive. While enroute CPFR was advised the fire was in the garage and had started to burn through the roof.
Upon the arrival of Engine 211 they deployed two attack lines and focus on extinguishing the garage and keeping the fire from entering the living area.
Tanker 216 initially provided water to Engine 211 while the crew from Engine 243 assisted with water supply from a hydrant. Engine 221 and Engine 232 assisted with search and fire extension into the attic area.
The fire was contained relatively quickly but there was a significate number of hot spots in the garage and attic that crews had to extinguish.
