On Saturday, CPFR responded to a rider thrown from a horse that was injured on Good Barn Road. Due to the traumatic nature of the injuries, Air Care was requested to transport the patient to the Trauma Center in Chapel Hill.
Moore County EMS responded with an ambulance and a Quick-Response Vehicle (QRV), Cypress Pointe sent an Engine to establish a Landing Zone for the helicopter, a QRV with the All-Terrain Utility Side-By-Side to help transport the patient.
