2023 Annual Report

By Department Chief Mike Cameron
January 29, 2024

2023 was a busy year for Cypress Pointe, call volume was over 1,200 calls, not our busiest year but busy enough. As always, our organization strives to improve our response and our service to the community through several methods of improvement.

This past year we were extremely fortunate in making the following improvements:
Our Members Fund Raiser collected enough money to purchase a side-by-side Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) with the ability to transport a medical patient from remote areas. The UTV was purchased through donations and not the department budget.
We also replaced Brush Truck 228 at Fire Station 2 (Cameron Station) with a new brush truck.
And we also completed construction on Fire Station 4 (Youngs Road Station) in June 2023. This station houses an Engine, Tanker and a full-time Moore County EMS unit.
Please take time to review our year-end report to see our response By the Numbers.
