Saturday morning CPFR was dispatched to a vehicle fire just off of Union Church Road.
As Engine 211 arrived they reported an engine compartment fire in an older model Camaro, the owner had used a fire extinguisher and a water hose and had the fire knocked down.
Crews from Engine 211, Engine 221 and Tanker 216 finished extinguishing the fire without issue. The owner had recently purchased the 1997 Camaro for parts and had started the motor when the fire started.
No injuries occurred and the fire only involved the car.
