Each Wednesday, on-duty CPFR staff participate in scheduled training to sharpen their skills and maintain readiness. Previous sessions have focused on extrication, medical care, fire tactics, and incident command.

Today’s training involved a simulated structure fire with smoke conditions inside a building. Crews practiced key skills such as fire apparatus operations, hose deployment, forcible entry, search, and coordinated fire attack. This type of hands-on scenario reinforces the fundamental techniques and teamwork required to safely and effectively fight fires.
