Email Print RSS Facebook Twitter RSS

By Department Chief Mike Cameron
July 3, 2024

For the second time in just over a week, a vehicle strikes a building causing significant damage. The driver of a passenger car blacked out while driving and left U.S. 1 Highway and drove through an unoccupied building. There were no injuries because of the wreck but the female driver was treated because she had passed out.
The N.C. Highway Patrol is investigating this incident, and the Moore County Building Inspector also conducted an inspection on the building because of the damage.
