On Tuesday CPFR responded to an Outside Fire in the 4000 block of Union Church Road for an outside fire that was spreading quickly and involving 25 round bales of hay which is always challenging to extinguish.
This fire was started from a controlled burn that had gotten away from the property owner and spread uncontrolled until the fire department arrived.
Also responding was the N.C. Forest Service.
