On January 22, 2020 Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue responded to five calls. While five calls within a shift is not unusual, what was different about this day is that all of these calls were wrecks. None of these wrecks were weather related, while it was cool outside, it was not raining, there was no fog and there was no ice or sleet. A normal day within the district would include several different call types, such as: fire alarms, medical calls, grass fires and maybe a wreck.
Each of these wrecks required the transport of at least one patient to the hospital.

N.C. 24/27 Highway and Lizzie Jeter Lane, Cameron
U.S. 1 By-Pass and N.C. 24/27 Highway, Cameron
