Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue mourns the passing of Retired Fire Chief Tony Sassano.
Chief Sassano served with honor and dedication at the Circle V (Vass) Fire Department, where he held the ranks of Captain, Assistant Chief, and ultimately retired as the full-time Fire Chief in 2009. No Caption Cypress Pointe Responds to Early Morning Deck Fire in Woodlake Community

Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue recently responded to a structure fire in the Woodlake Community. Upon arrival, it was determined that the fire was located on the rear deck of the residence.

Roll-Over Wreck on Cypress Church Road

Just before 5:00 p.m. CPFR and Moore County EMS were dispatched to a single vehicle wreck on Cypress Church Road. Upon the arrival of our first fire engine the crew reported a car upside down off the roadway with the driver (only occupant) still in the car.

May was a tough month. Our crews responded to several serious vehicle accidents, including multiple extrications and two tragic, traffic-related deaths.
