On January 3rd Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue with automatic aid partners Aberdeen Fire/Rescue, Seven Lakes Fire/Rescue, Southern Pines Fire/Rescue and Whispering Pines Fire/Rescue participated in a live burn training exercise on Lake Bay Road.
Training objectives included fire attack, thermal imaging, water supply and overhaul. This type of training is vital to building confidence in newer firefighters and reinforcing existing skills for more experienced firefighters.
