CPFR Assist Harnett County with Woods/Structure Fire

By Department Chief Mike Cameron
March 22, 2018

Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue was recently dispatched to assist Spout Springs Fire Department with a woods fire that involved two structures, a vehicle and threatened several other buildings on McCoy Town Road.
Due to dry and windy conditions the wildland fire burned quickly and was difficult to control. Because of the quick moving fire two structures were on fire when the first fire units arrived.
